Dr. Stephen James Wilson received his medical degree from Yale University in 1981 after graduating from UCLA cum laude in biology, including honors research in Cardiology. At the University of Hawaiʻi after an internship in General Surgery he completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in which he was board certified. He volunteered on the ground for the full ten weeks of the Asian Tsunami Disaster of 2004 and also for many other organizations Including the Fr. Ray orphanage in Thailand. His late Majesty the King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej graciously bestowed on him the Gold Medal (2nd rank) of the Royal Order of Direkgunabhorn in 2006. He has served on the board of directors of several physician organizations in Hawaiʻi. In Forensics he served as assistant to the director of CIFS (Thailand’s FBI crime scene branch of the Ministry of Justice) for several years.
He now focuses on functional medicine for clients in beautiful Hawaiʻi nei.
